Two shops were damaged in two separate fire incidents in Awantipora and Bandipora, police said.
Fire broke out in a shop belonging to Mohammad Akbar Ahanger resident of Wahab Sahab Sharshali in the jurisdiction of Police Station Pampore Awantipora, resulting in damage to the shop. Fire was brought under control by fire tenders.
In another incident, fire broke out in a shop belonging to Muzaffar Ahmad Reshi at Bhat Mohallah in the jurisdiction of Police Station Sumbal Bandipora, resulting in damage to the shop. Fire was brought under control by fire tenders.
However, no loss of life or injury was reported in these incidents.
