The Additional Deputy Commissioner, Bandipora, N A Baba on the instructions of Deputy Commissioner, Bandipora, Dr. Shah Faisal placed 21 employees under suspension for remaining absent from the duty.
Pertinently, many employees could not reach to their offices due to strike on Thursday.
An official statement said that the employees belong to the departments of Agriculture, Horticulture, Sericulture, Education, Social Welfare besides Hydraulic Division and Fund Office.
Meanwhile, the Additional Deputy Commissioner, Bandipora, N A Baba has imposed a fine of Rs. 25, 000/- on one Santosh Confectionary for misbranding. The order was passed as per the provisions of Food Safety Act.
