Son of ‘State Reporter Editor’ and General Secretary J& Kashmir Editors Association Shahid Rashid who had suffered grave injuries in Barsoo road accident breathed his last on Sunday. Faisal Rashid Tantray (23) was pursuing MBA in New Delhi and he was the lone son of his parents.
A large number of people from police, administration, journalism and politics attended his Namaz-i-Jinazah. His body was later laid to rest at his ancestral graveyard at Parnew Budgam.
According to CNS, thousands of people participated in his last rites. Faisal Rashid 23 was the only issue of his parents. People of Budgam were shocked to hear the news of his untimely death and thousands of people thronged to the residence of Shahi Rashid.
According to the family, congregational Fateh-a-khawani would take place in Parnew Budgam on Wednesday.
Jammu and Kashmir Editors Association along with journalist fraternity expressed grief over the untimely demise of Faisal Rashid.
