SRINAGAR: A labourer was electrocuted to death near S.P. college area of central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Saturday evening.
According to officials, a 25-year-old labourer identified as Zubair Ahmad Sheikh, son of Gh Mohammad Sheikh and a resident of Dudran, Boniyar in Baramulla, was electrocuted near S.P. College in Srinagar on Saturday evening.
He was immediately rushed to the hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead on arrival.
The police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated further proceedings. (KS)
