SRINAGAR: A 25-year-old man died by suicide after hanging himself at his home in the Khushipora area of Rafiabad, in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
An official informed the news agency KS that the youth (name withheld), a resident of Khusipora Panzalla, hung himself with a ceiling fan at his home.
He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
A police officer confirmed the incident to Kashmir Scroll, stating that cognizance of the incident has been taken and an investigation has been initiated.
