SRINAGAR: A 25-year-old man lost his life in a road accident in Anantnag district of South Kashmir on Wednesday.
Officials identified the deceased as Zahoor Ahmad Wani, son of Ghulam Hasan Wani, a resident of Aishmuqam, Anantnag. He was initially admitted to the District Hospital Anantnag in an unconscious condition and later referred to SKIMS Soura, where he was declared brought dead on arrival.
Reports said the driver lost control of the vehicle, which then collided with a mulberry tree. Authorities have registered a case, and a detailed investigation into the incident is ongoing. (KNC)
