SRINAGAR: A 25-year-old man was found hanging at his residence in Kralpora area of Verinag in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Friday morning, officials said.
The deceased was identified as Parivaz Ahmad Kumar, a resident of Kralpora.
Police reached the spot after receiving information about the incident and took the body into custody. It was later shifted to District Hospital Anantnag for post-mortem examination.
Police have started proceedings to establish the circumstances leading to the death. Further details are awaited.
