Entrepreneurship Development Institute in Bandipora established 26 income generating units. This was informed by District Nodal Officer EDI Bandipora during an awareness camp at Town Hall on Saturday.

According to spokesman, counselling of about 200 educated unemployed youth has been made while as more than 60 candidates registered and 22 candidates trained so far by Entrepreneurship Development Institute (EDI) in Bandipora district.

The camp was organized by EDI and the Divisional Communication Officer Kashmir, EDI besides staff and students from various Degree Colleges, unemployed educated youth, Sarpanchs and the people participated.

Divisional Communication Officer on this occasion while discussing various employment schemes sensitized the participants about those incentives available with EDI so that the educated unemployed can set up individual and joint business ventures according to market potential. He stressed the need of taking revolutionary steps to combat challenges and for making better future.
