SRINAGAR: A man lost his life after being caught in a landslide in the Charisharief area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Wednesday late night.
An official said that Ishfaq Ahmad Khatana, 27, son of Shabir Ahmad and a resident of Bajpathri Watakullo Charisharief, was extracting soil at Bajpathri Charisharief Budgam when the landslide occurred.
He said that Khatana died on the spot and that proceedings in this regard have been initiated. (KS)
