SRINAGAR: A mild earthquake measuring 3.1 on the Richter scale struck Jammu and Kashmir’s Kishtwar district in the early hours of Monday, officials said.
According to the National Centre for Seismology, the tremor occurred at 1:36 am, with the epicentre located near Kishtwar. The quake originated at a depth of 10 km beneath the surface at latitude 33.17°N and longitude 75.87°E.
