3 including two girls attempts suicide in separate districts of Kashmir: Police

Three persons including two girls on Thursday attempted to commit suicide in three separate districts of Kashmir, Police said.

A police spokesman in a statement said a girl (name withheld) resident of Beerwah, Budgam attempted to suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at her home.

However, she was shifted to JVC Hospital, Srinagar for the treatment. In this regard,  Budgam Police has registered a case and investigations have been taken up.

In Another incident, a girl (name withheld) a  resident of Kupwara attempted to suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at her home, and she was shifted to District Hospital Kupwara for treatment where from she has been shifted to SKIMS Srinagar for the further treatment.

Meanwhile, the Kupwara Police has registered a case in this regard.

In a third incident, a youth (name withheld) resident of Manasbal also consumed some poisonous substance at his home. He was shifted to JVC Hospital, Srinagar for treatment and Ganderbal Police has also registered a case in this regard.
