3 Injured in Bear Attacks, 5 in Road Mishaps

SRINAGAR

A bear attacked and injured Abdul Rahim Cheche resident of Checki Wargund, Ban Angan, near his house in Dooru, Islamabad, a police statement said on Sunday.

Meanwhile, in another similar incident, two persons Abdul Ahad Lone and Manzoor Ahmad Bhat residents of Shonglipora Khag were injured in a bear attack at Shunglipora, Khag Budgam.

Meanwhile, five persons were injured in different road accident across the valley.

A Motorcycle bearing registration number JK13B/6610 hit and injured a lady Danishta Farooq daughter of Farooq Ahmad Para resident of Rathsuna at Rathsuna, Beerwah Budgam. The injured was shifted to Bone and Joint Hospital Srinagar for treatment.

Meanwhile, a Motorcycle bearing registration number JK01J/3546 collided with another Motorcycle at Preng crossing Hhigh Way, Kangan resulting in injuries to both riders Fayaz Ahmad Kumar resident of Pandach Ganderbal, Mohammad Ajmal Noor resident of Bihar at present Pandach Ganderbal and pillions Showket Ahmad Ganaie resident of Barwalla Kangan and Abdul Hamid Ganaie resident of Barwall Kangan.

In another accident, an unknown vehicle hit and injured a child Basharat Iqbal son of Mohammad Iqbal Khare resident of Baghbal near Baghbal, in D.H Pora Kulgam.

The injured have been shifted to hospitals for treatment. And Police have registered cases accordingly.
