At least three persons were injured when an unexploded shell went off, the report said. Police said their party has left for the spot but has not reached yet.
An official said that three youth hailing from Shunglipora were injured in Tossamaidan Khag when an unexploded shell went off while they fiddled with it.
The injured were identified as Wajid Ahmad Ahanger son of Bashir Ahmad Ahanger, Waseem Ahmad Ganai son of Abdul Majeed Ganai and Mudasir Ahmad Ganai son of Ramzan Ganai all residents of Zoogu Khairan Beerwah.
All the injured were rushed to the nearby hospital, where from they were referred to JVC hospital Srinagar for specialized treatment.
