SRINAGAR: Three government officials including two officers succumbed to Covid-19 on Friday, taking Jammu and Kashmir’s pandemic fatalities to 1786.
According to reports, Nivedita Munshi, Under Secretary Home department J&K, Hakeem Muzaffar, Dy Secretary Transport, and Ashiq Hussain Bhat, Senior Assistant Hospitality and Protocol, J&K government have died due to Covid-19 in Jammu today.
Meanwhile, Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha has expressed his grief over the sad demise of Deputy Secretary, Transport Department, Hakim Muzaffar.
He also condoled the passing away of Under Secretary, Home Department, Nivedita Munshi.
In a condolence message, the Lt Governor has prayed for eternal peace to the departed souls and strength to the bereaved family members.
