SRINAGAR: At least three persons were arrested with arms and ammunition at Suhama area of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Friday, officials said.

Quoting officials the news agency KNO reported that based on the specific input from police about the movement of three unidentified individuals from Wanihama to Dignibal, Rashtriya Rifles in conjunction with police and CRPF established a naka at Suhama, Hadura.

The suspected individuals tried to escape, but were apprehended by the security forces and arms & ammunition was recovered from their possession.

They said that recovered items include two pistols, three magazines, two Chinese grenades and 15 rounds.
