In a tragic incident a three-year-old boy was mauled to death by a leopard in north Kashmir.
Police said that the incident occurred in the Kohipora village of Handwara area in Kupwara district. The victim has been identified as Mehraj-ud-din Bhat.
Local sources said that the village falls in a forest area and the leopard attacked the boy when he was kept on the verandah of the house./
The leopard attacked the boy and dragged him to a nearby forest police said and added that the body was retrieved from the forest Monday morning. (AGENCIES)
