SRINAGAR: A 30-year-old man from Gonipora Hayama in Kupwara district died at a hospital on Saturday after suffering a suspected cardiac arrest in Karnah.
The deceased was identified as Noshad Ahmad War, son of Mohd Jamal War, a resident of War Mohalla in Gonipora Hayama.
According to preliminary information, War developed sudden chest pain while at Nachayain in Karnah. He was subsequently taken to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Tangdhar for treatment.
Doctors examined him after his arrival and began treatment, but his condition could not be stabilised. He was later declared dead at the hospital.
The death is suspected to have resulted from a massive cardiac arrest, according to preliminary information. (JKNS)
