A 31-year-old motorcyclist died in a road mishap at Alamdar Colony of Lal Bazar area of Srinagar on Sunday.
According to police officials, motorcyclist identified as Suhail Ahmad Dar, son of Nazir Ahmad Dar, a resident of Alamdar Colony, Lal Bazar was hit by another motorcyclist in the sane area, leaving him critically injured.
Suhail, locals said was immediately shifted to SMHS hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
The medicos at SMHS said that the Suhail had serious head injury.
Police has registered the case FIR No 49/17 under relevant sections of law and further investigation has been taken up.
