SRINAGAR: Incessant rainfall over the past few days has caused extensive damage in Mahore sub-division of Reasi district, where 323 houses have been fully or partially affected, officials said on Friday.
SDM Mahore Shafqat Majeed Bhat informed that 88 families have been relocated to safer locations so far — 59 families in Jamslan and 29 in Sarh — with shelter provided at Panchayat Ghars and other designated sites.
“All necessary arrangements including medical care, food and essential supplies have been ensured for the affected families,” the SDM said.(KINS)
