SRINAGAR: The body of a 37-year-old labourer was found in the D.H. Pora area of south kashmir’s Kulgam district on Wednesday, officials said.
An official said the body was spotted by locals near the Nandimarg-Numblan road, following which police were informed.
A police team reached the spot and took the body into custody. The deceased was identified as Bashir Ahmad Gorsi, 37, son of Karam Din Gorsi, a resident of Dobdaban Nandimarg.
Police have taken cognisance of the incident and initiated an investigation to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the death.
