The 3G and 4G internet services have been restored in Srinagar after remaining suspended for a day long.

On Monday, as the gunfight raged in Kokernag village of Islamabad district, authorities snapped the high-speed internet services fearing protests.

Although the internet services were working in some parts of the valley, in southern parts of Kashmir the services were suspended completely.

Earlier, three militants were killed during an encounter between the government forces and militants in Kokernag village of district Islamabad.
