SRINAGAR
Four persons died and two others were injured in different road accident across the valley. Police said on Sunday.
A ‘Beat’ car bearing registration number JK01S/7515 hit and injured a pedestrian Jana Begum wife of Mohammad Akram Ganie resident of Palpora at Palpora, in Kunzar. The injured woman succumbed to her injuries on way to the Hospital. Kunzar Police has registered a case in this regard.
Meanwhile, a Tractor met with an accident at Chutru, in Budgam. The driver of the tractor was critically injured in the mishap. He succumbed to his injuries on way to the Hospital.
In another accident, a Dumper bearing registration number Jk03D/3713 met with an accident near Sadna-Top, in Kralpora, Kupwara, resulting in on spot death of the driver of the vehicle Mohammad Ashraf Magray resident of Sadoora, Qazigund-Islamabad.
An unknown vehicle hit and injured Mohammad Sarwar Rather resident of Chethy Bandy, Bandipora at Pinchi Mandi, in Safakadal. The injured succumbed to his injuries at SKIMS, Soura.
A Tata 709 vehicle bearing registration number Jk09/0827 hit and injured Abdul Rashid Sheikh son of Dilawar Sheikh resident of Firdous Abad near Fruit Mandi gate, in Parimpora. The injured was shifted to JVC, Srinagar for treatment.
An unknown vehicle hit and injured Rouf Ahmad Kaloo resident of Band, Parimpora on Highwa. The injured was shifted to Hospital for treatment.
