A 45-year-old woman was killed in a road mishap at Khaipora area of Tangmarg in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday evening.
An official said that the woman Rafeeqa Begum (45) wife of Abdul Rasheed Wani of Mirchipora, Tangmarg was hit by a speeding Tractor in Khaipora, Tangmarg.
In the mishap, the woman suffered critical injuries, he said, adding that the injured woman was immediately taken to nearby hospital where from she was referred to Srinagar.
Rafeeqa, the mother of three children, however, later succumbed in the hospital, he said.
In this regard Police station Tangmarg has lodged a case under FIR No. 73/ 2018 and started further investigations investigation, he said. (GNS)
