SRINAGAR: Mild tremors were felt in Kolkata on Friday following a 5.2-magnitude earthquake near Ghorashal in Bangladesh.
The United States Geological Survey (USGS) stated that the quake’s epicentre was located 14 km from Narsingdi in Bangladesh.

Residents of Kolkata and surrounding areas reported slight shaking, with fans and wall hangings observed swaying during the tremors.
No immediate reports of damage or casualties have been received from the affected regions.
