Five paramilitary troopers were injured after suspected militants attack in Bijbihara tehsil of south Kashmir’s Islamabad district on Thursday.
An official said that five CRPF men have sustained injuries after suspected militants lobbed a grenade on CRPF deployment at zirpara Bijbihara tehsil of Islamabad. The injured troopers have been identified as Ominder Singh, Pankaj Kumar, Nitin Kumar, B Kumar and Yoginder Singh.
Meanwhile, forces have cordoned off the area and searches have been launched to trace the attackers.
