5 persons died and two were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir Valley. A police statement said on Saturday.

Three injured persons Parvaiz Ahmad Khan son of Mohammad Sajad , Mariya Bano daughter of Maqsood Khan and Anayatullah Khan son of Yar Mohammad residents of Ladoo, Rafiabad, succumbed to their injuries at SKIMS, Soura, Srinagar.

Five persons travelling in a Maruti car bearing registration number JK05B/8813 had received injuries in a collision with a bus bearing registration number JK01H/9870 at Janbazpora near Juice Factory, Baramulla on October 17.

The other two injured are under treatment in the SKIMS hospital.

Meanwhile, another person Mohammad Musa Mehander son of Mohammad Yousuf resident of Kalakote, Rajouri who was injured in a road mishap at Sether, Islamabad on October 6 also succumbed to his injuries at SKIMS Soura, Srinagar.

A pedestrian Jamsheeda daughter of Mohammad Maqbool Dar resident of Tujjar Sharief, Sopore died when she was hit by a LP Tata minibus bearing registration number JK05/6526, near Harwan, Sopore, in Bomia.

A Van bearing registration number JK01Q/1949 driven by Fasil Mehraj Mir son of Mehraj-ud-Din on way from Tangmarg to Magam hit and injured a lady Jameela Ahad daughter of Abdul Ahad Parray resident of Wailoo Kralpora at Kunzar Market, Baramulla in Kunzar. The injured was shifted to Sub district Hospital, Magam for treatment.

A Maruti Car bearing registration number JK04A/1425 driven by Tajamul Wali Dar son of Wali Mohammad resident of Chichipora hit and injured a girl Nazia Akhtar daughter of Shabir Ahmad Khan resident of Naria, Nowshehra Rajouri at Batapora, Kunzar. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment.
