Five residential houses were damaged in two separate fire incidents in the valley last evening.
Due to electric shot circuit, fire broke out in the residential house of Ali Mohammad Beigh of Beighpora Bagh-e- Mehtab, Srinagar which engulfed the adjacent residential houses of Mohammad Yousuf Beigh, Abdul Rehman Beigh and Ghulam Mohammad Mir, resulting in damage to all the structures. Fire was brought under control with the help of fire tenders and local police. A police statement said on Saturday.
In another incident, fire broke out in the residential house of Bashir Ahmad Khan of Briver Achan, Srinagar, resulting in complete damage to the structure. Fire was brought under control with the help of fire tenders and local police. Police has registered a case in this regard.
