Kulgam police recovered about 5 Kg Charas from a bus at a check point. A police statement said on Thursday.
Police intercepted a bus bearing registration number JK02A/1313 at security check post Kulgam, in south Kashmir. During the search of the bus 5 kg’s and 300 grams of charas was recovered from the bus.
Police is investigating to ascertain the identity of the peddler who was smuggling the contraband.
A case FIR number 128/2013, under section 8/20 NDPS Act was registered in this regard and investigation has been started.
