The Chief Information Commissioner, Jammu and Kashmir State Information Commission, G R Sufi and Commissioners Dr S K Sharma and Er Nazir Ahmed have voluntarily removed Beacon Lights from their official vehicles.
Pertinently, Chief Information Commissioner has status equivalent to that of election commissioner of India.
Police Chief, Ashok Prasad has already removed Beacon Lights from his vehicle.
