SRINAGAR: A 55-year-old pedestrian died after being hit by a Tata Mobile vehicle in the Kralgund area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Monday morning, officials said.
An official said that the accident occurred when a Tata Mobile vehicle bearing registration number JK09-6657 hit the man in the Budbugh, Ashpora area of Kralgund, Kupwara.
He was shifted to Government Medical College (GMC), Handwara, where doctors declared him brought dead. The deceased was identified as Riyaz Ahmad, a resident of Budbugh, Ashpora, Kralgund.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognisance of the incident.—(KNO)
