Minister for Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Chowdhary Zulfkar Ali today said that Government is planning to open 57 new ration depots in Uri constituency to ease supply in the far off hilly areas of the constituency.
He informed that 36 Ghat Munshies have been deployed in the area for distribution of ration. He also said that presently 55 ration depots are functional in Uri.
The Minister was replying to a question by MLA Mohammad Shafi.
