Six persons were injured in two different road accidents in Budgam, a police statement said on Saturday.
A Tata 407 vehicle bearing registration number JK04A/0214 on way to Khag for VIP duty driven by Asif Ahmad Wani son of Abdul Rehman resident of Bemina Srinagar collided with a bus bearing registration number JK13/2411 driven by Shabir Ahmed Dar resident of Sholipora at Peerbagh, in Budgam, resulting in injuries to 05 police personnel.
All the injured were shifted to Bone & Joint Hospital Barzulla for treatment. Budgam Police has registered a case in this regard.
A Tata mini bus 407 bearing registration number JK01/4218 driven by Farooq Ahmad Ganie son of Assad-ul-lah Ganie resident of Harduwale hit and injured a pedestrian Abdul Khaliq Teeli resident of Shoor Khansahab near new Bus stand Budgam.
The injured was shifted to SKIMS Soura, Srinagar for treatment.
