SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir Police on Thursday informed that as many as 62 terrorists have been killed so far this year, of which 47 were local terrorists and 15 were foreign terrorists.
The IGP attributed the success of security forces against militants to enhanced human and technical intelligence. “As many as 32 militants got neutralised within three months of their joining terror ranks. Of 62 slain militants, 15 were foreigners,” he said.
“Among the 62 slain militants, 39 were linked with militant outfit LeT, 15 with JeM, 06 with HM and 02 with Al-Badr,” said IGP Kashmir.
