Seven persons were injured in an accident at Awantipora, on Srinagar-Jammu Highway on Sunday.
A police spokesman said seven passengers were injured in a collision between a Taveera Vehicle bearing registration number JK0IT-4962 and Vehicle bearing registration number JK03E-0508 near CRPF Camp Awantipora, resulting in injuries to seven persons.
The injured have been identified as Noor Aalam Sheikh (45), his wife Meenara (42), his two daughters Amreena Noor (16) and Misba Noor (13) all residents of Kolkata at present Habakadal Srinagar, Mohammad Syed Sofi (37) resident of Sofi Gund Wanpoh Islamabad, Abdul Kareem (22) resident of Aasam and Abdul Aziz (30) resident of Aasam.
All the injured have been referred to Srinagar hospital from Public Health Centre Awantipora.
