SRINAGAR : Eight CRPF and Jammu and Kashmir Police personnel were injured after a CRPF bunker vehicle rolled down on the Wachi main road in the Zainapora area of south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Monday evening.
Officials said the BP bunker vehicle of the CRPF’s 178 Battalion, which was deployed at Police Post Wachi, reportedly lost control and rolled down the road.
Seven CRPF personnel and one Jammu and Kashmir Police personnel sustained injuries in the accident.
The injured were immediately shifted to the Community Health Centre (CHC) Zainapora for treatment.
The cause of the accident is being ascertained, while further details are awaited. (GNS)
