Eight people were killed after their vehicle plunged into the Chenab River in Kishtwar district of Jammu region on Wednesday, reports said.
They said that the vehicle went out of the driver’s control and fell into the river at Dachan resulting in death of eight passengers in the accident. They added two people were injured and three are still missing.
Latest reports said that the bodies have been recovered and the injured have been shifted to a hospital.
Police said, “Efforts are on to trace the three missing passengers.”
