Minister for Education, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari informed the House that 8000 posts are being created at different levels in the State to augment human resource for the newly upgraded 200 Middle Schools to High Schools and 200 High Schools to Higher Secondary Schools.
The Minister said this while replying to a Calling Attention Notice moved by MLA Pawan Gupta regarding the shortage of permanent staff at Barta Higher Secondary School.
The minister informed that the Department on completion of this ongoing recruitment process shall initiate the process for creation of posts at 10+2 level in already upgraded schools, including Higher Secondary School, Barta.
With regards to the present staff position at Barta Higher Secondary School, he said that department has made the Higher Secondary School fully functional by way of internal arrangement to ensure that the education doesn’t suffer.
