SRINAGAR: A 93-year-old woman was burned to death in a forest fire accident in the Doda district of the Jammu region.
An official said that the fire broke out in the forest area of Village Thingna, Tehsil Bhaderwah, resulting in the unfortunate demise of Sheila Devi, a 93-year-old woman wife of the late Salk Ram of Thingna, Tehsil Bhaderwah.
Confirming it, a police officer said that a case has been registered regarding the incident. This is the second tragic incident of its kind reported in a single day.
Earlier, three sisters had been burned to death in a fire accident in the Ramsoo area of Ramban.(KS)
