SRINAGAR: Airport Authority of India (AAI), Safdarjung Airport, New Delhi is recruiting for various posts in official language and air traffic. The application process is online and the last date for the same is January 21, 2023. Candidates can apply by making a payment of Rs 1000. However, the SC/ST/PWD candidates or Apprentices who have successfully completed one year of Apprenticeship Training in AAI or Female candidates are exempted from payment of Fee.
AAI is seeking applications from eligible candidates for two posts of Manager (Official Language). Only candidates from Un-Reserved category can apply. Applicants should have completed post-graduation in Hindi or in English or in any subject with Hindi and English as compulsory/elective subject at degree level. They should have experience in translation relating to Glossary and from English to Hindi and Hindi to English preferably of Technical or Scientific Literature. They should also have 5 years’ experience as an officer of any office of central/state government including Public Sector Undertaking in the field of Raj Bhasha.
Three Hundred Fifty Six positions are open for the post of Junior Executive (Air Traffic Control) among which 145 are for Un-Reserved, 35 are for EWS, 96 are for OBC (NCL), 53 are for SC, 27 for ST and 3 for PwBD (Category C). Candidates having completed Bachelor’s degree with Physics and Maths or in Bachelor’s degree in engineering with Physics and Maths as subjects in any one of the semesters. Experience is not needed for this post.
Junior Executive (Official Language) is required against four vacancies among which 03 are under Un-Reserved category and 1 is under OBC category. Candidates who have completed post-graduation in Hindi or English as a subject on degree level or post-graduation in any other subject with Hindi and English as compulsory/elective subject on degree level are eligible. They should have experience of two years in Translation relating to Glossary and from English to Hindi and Hindi to English preferably of Technical or Scientific literature.
Two Senior Assistants (Official Language) are sought under Un-Reserved category. The applicants should have completed Master’s in Hindi with English as a subject at graduation level or Masters in English with Hindi as a subject at graduation level or Master’s in any subject along with Hindi and English as compulsory/optional subjects at graduation level. They should have 2 years’ experience in translation work from English to Hindi or vice versa in Central or State Government Office, including Government of India Undertakings or reputed organizations.
The applicants applying for the post of Senior Assistant should not be more than 30 years, that for Junior Executive should not be more than 27 years and that of Manager should not be more than 32 years. However, there is a relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (NCL), 10 years for PwD.
