Lashing out at Awami Itihaad Party (AIP) for misleading people over Kashmir policy adopted by Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), New Delhi Education Minister and AAP senior leader Manish Sisodia Monday said that his party has not taken any stand on Kashmir yet and they will soon disclose the official stand taken by party on Kashmir-issue.

In a conversation with CNS reporter on the sidelines of Arvind Kejriwal’s protest outside Rail Bhawan against Delhi Police, AAP leader and Education Minister, Manish Sisodia said that AAP will contest elections in Jammu and Kashmir single handedly and it will not rely on allies. “We have a strong base all over India and we don’t need the support of any ally. There is no question of seeking the support of AIP or any other party and these reports are baseless that some AIP leaders approached us,” he said.

He said that AAP will contest elections in Jammu and Kashmir too and hopefully will garner the support of common people. Sisodia told CNS that his party will convene a meeting regarding the matter after few days.

Responding to a query, Manish Sisodia said that AAP has not disclosed its Kashmir policy yet. “We will soon disclose our stand on Kashmir and those who criticize us and mislead people over the issue will also come to know about our stand on the issue,” he said.

Pertinently, AIP chairman in a statement had claimed that AAP like other parties has taken a tough stand on Kashmir.
