SRINAGAR
Police on Sunday detained the Chairperson of Dukhtaran-e-Millat Aasiya Andrabi and her close aide Fameedah Sofi near Qazigund on Srinagar-Jammu highway, a DeM spokesperson said.
While talking to KNS the spokesperson of DeM said that Aasiya was on way to Banihal as she was scheduled to address a religious function there.
Aasiya with several DeM activists including Fameedah Sofi have been lodged in Banihal police station.
