Jammu and Kashmir Police on Sunday claimed to have solved a kidnapping case of a girl in shortest possible time and arrested the accused involved in the crime.
A police spokesman said in a statement that Islamabad police has recovered a kidnapped girl and arrested the accused involved in the crime.
“On April 01, 2018, Police Station Achabal received a written complaint from a person namely Mohammad Rafiq Itoo resident of Nunwan (Achabal) that his daughter name (with withheld) had been kidnapped,” the spokesman said.
In this regard a case FIR No. 32/2018 under section 363 RPC was registered in police station Achabal and investigation was taken up, the spokesman added.
The police after putting strenuous efforts recovered the said girl from the possession of kidnapper Ishfaq Ahmad Sheikh resident of Gopalpora Islamabad who was subsequently arrested. After completion of all legal formalities, the said girl was handed over to her family members, the spokesman said.
