Jammu Kashmir Freedom Party (JKDFP) has paid rich and glowing tributes to civilians who were killed by government forces at Khudwani Kulgam on Wednesday.

The spokesman in a statement said that a party delegation led by Engineer Farooq Khan went to south Kashmir and exhibited solidarity with the bereaved families especially with the parents of the deceased.

Sarjeel Ahmad Sheikh of Khudwani, Bilal Ahmad Tantray of Frisal, Faisal Ellahi of Melhoora Shopian and Aijaz Ahmad Pala of Bijbehara were killed in Khudwani area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district.

The JKDFP delegation hailed the courage and valour of the people of district Kulgam particularly Khudwani for displaying their political will and wish candidly, the spokesman said.

The spokesman said that the people of Kulgam have time and again showed that government forces cannot stop them from taking forward the mission of ‘martyrs’.

“It is the firm determination and steadfastness of the people which is keeping the freedom movement going on and on and it is the precious blood of our great ‘martyrs’ which has kept the torch of resistance burning even in toughest times,” the spokesman in a statement said.

The spokesman in a statement said that “Delhi and its local collaborators can go to any extent to kill and crush the freedom sentiment of the people of Jammu and Kashmir, however, their every effort will fail as in past.”

“The only way to win the hearts and minds of the people of Kashmir is to accept their long pending demand of plebiscite so that they can determine their political future in a free and fair atmosphere,” the spokesman.
