SRINAGAR: An Army personnel sustained injuries after an accidental firearm discharge while deboarding from a convoy in Srinagar on Monday.
Official sources said that the incident occurred at around this evening when the personnel was getting down from a convoy that had arrived from Udhampur at R Centre, Srinagar.
The injured personnel sustained wounds from a rifle and was immediately shifted to Base Camp Badambagh for medical treatment.
