Srinagar Police has taken the cognizance of an incident of acid throwing on a girl at Parrypora. As per police statement the accused has been arrested.
Police took a serious note and arrested the accused involved in a case of acid throwing on a girl at Parraypora, Srinagar. The accused Reyaz Ahmad Nath son of Ghulam Rasool Nath resident of Lone Mohallah, Chanapora has been arrested reads the statement.
Sadder Police has registered a case, FIR No: 2/1013, in this regard and the victim was shifted to SMHS hospital for her treatment.
As per statement, DIG CKR, Syed Afad-ul- Mujtaba visited the victim at the hospital and assured her family that police will bring the perpetrator to justice at the earliest. He has ordered that the investigation of the case will be pursued expeditiously.
Reyaz Ahmad Nath attacked a girl namely Ruqaya with acid near her residence on Wednesday afternoon.
