SRINAGAR: The Administrative Council which met under the chairmanship of Lieutenant Governor G C Murmu on Monday decided that no new appointments in Jammu and Kashmir will be made under SRO-202.
“Administrative Council chaired by LG G C Murmu takes a historic decision. No fresh appointments under SRO202. Probation period of old appointees reduced from 5 to 2 years. A massive step toward employee welfare,” government spokesman Rohit Kansal tweeted.
