Describing administrators and government functionaries as trustees of public, Chairperson State Accountability Commission (SAC), Justice Bashir Ahmad Khan has asked officers to work with honesty for the benefit and welfare of public besides development and prosperity of the State.
Justice Khan said this, while interacting with KAS probationers at Institute of Management and Public Administration (IMPA) here Tuesday.
Speaking on the occasion, he threw light upon the functioning and role of State Accountability Commission. He said accountability is foremost in efficient and transparent functioning of governance. He stressed upon probationers to have a full lawful knowledge of day to day administration so that future of people, administration and State is secured.
Justice Khan further said that people have high expectations from public functionaries and their hope should be given respect by mitigating and redressing public issues on priority. He also stressed them to use authority and power in total transparent and judicious manner and ensure it is not misused at all.
