SRINAGAR: Khalifa University has announced admission into various undergraduate programmes across multiple disciplines which have been accredited by the UAE Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The admissions are open until April 30, 2024.

The College of Engineering and Physical Sciences offers Bachelor of Science degrees in fields critical to the advancement of technology. Students can choose from Aerospace Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Systems and Management, Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, and Earth and Planetary Sciences.

The College of Computing and Mathematical Sciences introduces programmes in Computer Engineering with a Software Systems Concentration, Computer Science with specializations in Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity, and Applied Mathematics, Statistics, and Data Science.

The College of Medicine and Health Sciences is offering programmes in Biomedical Engineering and Cell and Molecular Biology.

In addition to these bachelor degrees, the University presents a range of minors including Artificial Intelligence, Biotechnology, Energy Transition, General Business, Mathematics, Nuclear Engineering, and Renewable and Sustainable Energy.

However, undergraduate students can also enroll in the Accelerated Master of Science Programme allowing students to earn credits towards their Master’s degree while pursuing their Bachelor’s degree. The student must have completed a minimum of 90 credits with a minimum CGPA requirement of 3.5 or above to join the Accelerated Master of Science programme.

The university in collaboration with its partners provides various undergraduate scholarships for both UAE national and non-national students. These include the Khalifa University Scholarship, Telecommunication Regulatory Authority (TRA) Scholarship ‘Betha’, UAE Nuclear Energy Scholarship Programme (in partnership with ENEC & FANR), Ajyal Talent Management – Tamayuz Scholarship Programme, The Future Teacher Scholarship, and the ADNOC Scholarship Programme.

UAE nationals and applicants with Emirati mothers graduating from high school this year are advised to apply through the NAPO web portal on the Ministry of Education website, while UAE nationals and previous year high school graduates should use the Khalifa University (KU) web portal. All international students are also required to apply through the KU web portal.
