Advisor to Governor, Farooq Khan Friday directed the Agriculture and Horticulture department to settle SRO 43 cases in a time bound manner.
The Advisor made these remarks during a meeting held with Secretary Agriculture Production Department and other concerned officers.
The Advisor impressed upon the officers to issue appointment orders of all eligible SRO cases by or before October 30. He said that the documentation process of the cases should be completed at the earliest. He ordered that no officer should ask the claimant to get the certificates of any kind rather it should be the duty of the officers to get the certificates.
It was informed in the meeting that a total of 78 SRO cases were pending in the department, out of which appointment orders have been issued in 35 cases and others are at various stages.
Secretary Agriculture Production Department, Manzoor Ahmad Lone said that the department is working in close coordination to clear the SRO cases on priority basis.
