SRINAGAR: In a heart-wrenching turn of events, two Kashmiri Hajj pilgrims are reported to have breathed their last after completing the sacred pilgrimage in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. While one of them is reported to have died in Mecca, another breathed his last in Mina.

The first pilgrim Azeema Begum, wife of Nooruddin Shah from Sozieth, sadly passed away on Thursday in Mecca. The news of their demise has left the community in grief and mourning.

Adding to the sorrow, another Hajj pilgrim from Safapora, Ganderbal, Jalaluddin Baba, also succumbed to natural causes in Mecca.

Earlier, Naseema Akhter, a resident of Uranhall (Anantnag) died of cardiac arrest in Mecca on June 26.
